Whether you trained with IEOLCA or through another recognized institution, you are welcome here. This directory is about elevating the entire field, not just our own graduates.

How it works

Complete the application form. Share your bio, location, specializations, website, and a professional photo. The form takes about 10 minutes.

We review and verify your training. We confirm your credential with your training institution. You may be asked to upload or email a copy of your certificate.

Your listing goes live. We build your card and publish it to the directory, typically within a few business days.

Families find you. Your listing is searchable by location, specialty, and availability. Families and healthcare professionals can contact you directly from your card.

Common questions

Do I need to be IEOLCA-trained to be listed?
No. The directory is open to doulas trained at any recognized institution, including INELDA, NEDA, Doulagivers, Going with Grace, Death Doula School, and others. If you completed a reputable program, you are welcome to apply.
Is there a cost to be listed?
During our founding period, featured listings are free. Founding members will lock in a preferential rate when annual fees are introduced. We will give you ample notice before any fees take effect.
What if I am still completing my training?
You are welcome to apply. Your listing will clearly indicate that your training is in progress, and your contact button will reflect your current availability. Many students find that being listed early helps build awareness as they complete their certification.
Can a directory listing help me build my doula practice?
Yes. Being discoverable is one of the most important early steps in building a sustainable end-of-life doula practice. Families and healthcare professionals actively search for trained doulas online, and a professional directory listing makes you findable by the people who need you.
I serve clients virtually. Can I be listed even if I am outside North America?
Absolutely. The directory is global and actively welcomes doulas from all countries. Your listing will show your location and can indicate virtual availability so families anywhere in the world can find you.
Can I update my listing after it goes live?
Yes. Simply email office@ieolca.org with your updated information and we will make the changes within a few business days.
