Is this death doula training really free?
Yes. The Life Review module is offered at no cost, so you can experience IEOLCA's approach to learning before deciding whether further training is right for you.
Do I need healthcare or hospice experience?
No. This introductory learning experience is open to people who are new to end-of-life care, as well as caregivers, volunteers, and professionals who want to explore another way of supporting others.
What is Life Review?
Life Review is a thoughtful exploration of a person's experiences, relationships, values, and memories. In non-medical end-of-life doula care, it can offer opportunities for listening, meaning-making, and honoring the individual's story.
Will I be certified after this free module?
No. This is one complete learning module from our larger Certified End-of-Life Doula program. Certification involves additional learning, assignments, reflection, and completion requirements.
